today had an auto electriction install the series 2 ptu and i thought that would fix my problems but wouldnt, tried cranking car but it wouldnt fire, he had a look at to see if there was any power in the spark plugs but nothing. I reckon its the crank angle sessor, cause one time it came up on the ecu, then a week l;ater it never showed up again.

So if the crank angle sensor does not work will it not give any power to the spark plugs. does anyone have a crank angle sensor for sale.

Check the connector to the CAS first. Make sure it is clean & tensioned correctly.

Not a very good auto electrician by the sounds of it!
Why can't he diagnose your problem?

CAS has nothing to do with spark.

Do another ECU diagnostic and let us know the result.

easy test... pull the cas out of the engine, keep it wired in, pull a coil pack and spark plug... have it all connected and earth it to the plenum, turn the cas knob, it if sparks the cas is working, if it dont, then its eitehr cas, ecu or wiring... most likely cas
