Looking at some Volk GR-C's: Will they fit the Z? Or may need spacers? If they don't come with the adaptor stated in the ad, does that mean they won't fit the Z? Sellers says: The actual measured PCD are 5x100 however the stickers on the wheels says 5x114.3. The reason is when new, they came with an adapter which made them fit 5x114.3 The FRONT set are 17" x 7" with offset of +55 The REAR set are 17" x 8" with offset of +65 The center bore is 52mm in diameter.
Looking at the widths + offsets alone you'd definitely need spacers... however the adapter should take away some offset, do you know how thick it is? stock wheels are 16/7+45 or 16/8+35 if you wanna plug into a calc and not sure about the bore...
If they are anything like other Volk's if they come with factory spacers then the sticker is the total offset including the width of the spacer. So you are going to need spacers with your spacers Keep looking Kris.
Darn it! Was afraid of that... maybe I'll have to find a pair of the Volk's that have the spokes sticking out to clear the front callipers. Oh well...
I've checked that set in flesh. Definitely 5 x 100. Need adapters. And offset are excessive as per our zed's specs...
Thanks for all those replies (my Thanks button has disappeared for the moment...), I'm just sick of having mismatched front/rear rims that it had on when it came from Japan in 2005. I mean they look ok, but I'd rather have all 4 Volks... or Work Emotion XD-9's in Bronze...
Just get a set of XD9s ordered in in the right size and offset then. Be harder to get GRCs this way. The bronze would look great on the black car too!
