I have cut 3 starter motor spacers for people running a na manual box and using a tt flywheel and starter motor they are 3mm thick 10 bucks ea plus postage.
they would be if i wasnt in between jobs. dont have acsess to mill and lathe anymore as the company i worked for went bust. ive got one started but cant find tome at the moment to finish them. but they are deff still on the card as there is heaps of interest in them.
Awesome! How about if you just run a NA Manual Box plus NA Flywheel? Is that combo compatible with a TT Engine? Are the TT flywheel's stronger than the NA flywheels? I'm going to do a Manual conversion soon more than likely, so I'm thinking ahead a bit. Can you quote me on the total cost including postage to post to 3810, Pakenham in Melbourne? I'll probably grab one, depending on answers to above questions
a good N/A HD clutch should handle the power of a tt engine in stock form no? what would the NA clutch be rated to, if using a say 5 puk NA clutch, could that handle 250rwkw?
Nicely made matey. Had to laugh. The last NA to TT conversion I did which used the NA box. The guy said yeah just shove a few washers under the starter It was at that point I stopped listening to him altogether. THEN hand made an adapator just like this
