Hey guys, was looking on the TTZ website and there is a body kit listed under "other" body kits. It's listed as "TTZ Bodykit 4PC - 300ZX 2+2 (90-96 Z32) Kit Contents 1x 300ZX Front Bar (with speed holes), Fibreglass 1x 300ZX 2+2 Left side skirt, Fibregalss 1x 300ZX 2+2 Right side skirt, Fibregalss 1x 300ZX 2+2 Rear Bar, Fibregalss Price : $1,390.00" But there are no pictures?... So i would like to know what it looks like? As there probably isn't much point in buying it unless i have some idea. From what i've figured though the front bar is the greddy one, with speed holes, like the UAS version. No idea about the rest? Anyone able to help with this?
Its TTZ. Wont ever happen. Forget about it. Look for something that exists and is in stock, ready to be provided by someone who wants to provide.
I found a really really cheap version of the greddy gracer front bar.. and it's made in urethane for only $281.07!! Here's a link if anyone's interested http://www.andysautosport.com/nissan/1990_1996_300zx/exterior/body_kits/kbd/
Gday, If anyone is interested in getting this bar (or any other items from this supplier) over from the states, shoot me an email - parts@usatoaus.com - and I will help bring it over. We have containers leaving for Australia regularly to most ports. Mention the 300ZX forum to get the bar shipped for $150 AUD + G.S.T. to your port. You can also call me on the number below for more information. Cheers Glen 0408 805 995
That's awesome. Would be super cheap to get it shipped that way. I contacted andys auto sports by email and they said the total cost to get that front bar to Australia would be $750 approx. But to get it shipped the way mentioned above it'd be under $500 easy. Also found something else today. There is a company who makes the Greddy Gracer style front bar out of a material called "Duraflex". The company is called Extreme Dimensions. This Duraflex stuff is much tougher than urethane and won't snap or break even after being bent.. crashed into curbs.. hit with a baseball bat and so on. Thing is.. Andy's Auto Sport also sell this for $280 approx. So if I was to buy this Duraflex Greddy Gracer front bar replica and get it shipped for $150.. it'd work out roughly to be $480 for a VERY tough front bar. Which to me seems quite awesome.
Thanks Glen. Say for example I didn't live in Melbourne or any of the capital cities. Would it also be possible to arrange freight to my location from the Melbourne port?.. Simply.. The bar gets shipped from USA to AUS through your service.. then once it arrives in AUS (at Melbourne.) freight can be arranged to my location at my own expense, and the bar can be sent straight to me?
Here's the video I watched of them testing the durability of the DuraFlex material they use to make the front bars out of. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOb4Kpk3f8s&feature=player_embedded
