i always drive and ride with my lights on, in the 300 it isnt horrible, but i still find my self giving way to people who should have given way.
but in my blitzen edition subaru B4(bright red, stands out long back) with factory body kit and rims designed by porche, i get no problems. but every single cop i drive by stares at it??
i think its almost a saftey feature to have a extrodinary loud vehicle so people might actually notice you

Loud in both senses of the word! I find that my BOV works better than my horn when people are trying to change lanes into me. Something about people stopping the lane change to cover their ears

Hrm, i was in Busselton sometime last year and was pulled over and told to turn my lights off during the day. Never done it since, is it actually a hazzard or were thye just being dicks?

I seem to remember a TV advertising campaign not so long ago encouraging us to drive with our lights on at all times.... Maybe the cops don't watch TV?

just get her to pay off your cost of repair.
and tell her she was lucky that that wasn't a lambo so low which she just couldnt see.

Hey bud, sorry to hear. I can definitely relate - two weeks ago, my zed was written off - while it was parked in my street! Some woman smashed into the back right of it, hard enough to write it off.

Here's the punch - she lives 3 houses down from me and it's a quiet residential street. Oh and did I mention my zed was bright red?

If you search under my previous threads, you'll see a thread I made with pics.'

    Cheers,

    -Kirill

It's classed as a distraction in the suburbs, but a safety feature on the highways and out on open roads in the country etc.
