WA TECH DAY, sunday 16/5/10.....

hey all, just thought id let you know im going to hold a tech day at my place this sunday, my car is officially being pulled of the road for its rebuild and the wrecking of the is wreck to be completed..............

we will be starting at 12 noon and the drinks being beer and water will be provided, and abbq will be othe cards as well finishing with late noght drinks to finish off......

post here to tell me your coming and we will have some zed wrecking fun and a bit off healthy partying to end the night!!!

 

Finally Ross should be able to get there to see how I can help

Bah I'm on graveyard shifts I think I might still rock up though lol, need to learn as much as I can before I pull everything out

 

yeah its always a fun day, and a great way to learn.....1st timers welcome as well.....

I will be there too with 3.1L Z and new engine bay. Exactly what we are doing in your tech day? Pulling engine or what. WA zedders need a kick in the ass because it is been quiet for a while.

on a side note, as most of you are aware i am wrecking a z tt z32 at the moment so you can get some spares if you need them as well.....

can be a swap meet as well as a tech day.....

 

work ill be doing will .....

on the white zed z32, plenum pull and injector removal, possible battery terminal replacement, exhaust drop and gearbox drop, clutch and flywheel removal for machining of flywheel and new clutch install later on down the track, possible fuel pump replacement, diagnostics and timing check

on the white z31, investigate gearbox problems, start and run car

on the grey z32, strip engine as much as possible, remove exhaust and gearbox, try and figure out how to remove steering rack

if someone could bring data scan, and if people brought there own tools just in case that would be great. theres also lots of room on the driveway for people to do some work on there own cars if they so desire, no dramas there!:zlove:
