Just to get the ball rolling. Nice to meet some new folks. Happy days I got the very special award for the most accurate power estimation. Anyone with some photos, post them up. Steve
Can someone post winners and wooden spoon results? I had to leave early due to an impatient fiance lol
A great day, thanks to all concerned. I sure picked a good event as my 1st. Great to make contact with an ace mechanic and his side kicks too. They'll be getting my business from now on by the looks of things. I seem to have developed "horse power fever" today though. I thought I was the hot favorite for the wooden spoon with my 4psi boost but missed out on that coveted award. Here's a few pics to get you's going. I'll down-load a few more tomorrow. http://img697.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10008.jpg/ http://img101.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10001.jpg/ http://img199.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10019.jpg/
Here's a few more, wonder which is the "brute"? http://img594.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10014.jpg/ http://img443.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10015.jpg/ http://img709.imageshack.us/i/dynoday10017.jpg/
I had the honour of receiving the wooden spoon trophy I'll have to go for another run after I get a new clutch and the free tune woohoo! Next time I'll get the highest output though
Yep was a good event for sure. Great to see some high HP TT Z32's, most of which I believe PZP has had good input in. Excellent event Tom. You should run MORE. PS: I owe u 5 bucks lolz. For me, I didn't think I was going to make it as Kids had Hockey Grading today. That ended at 12:30 and I got to the Dyno Day at about 1:30pm. Only wanted to run to see what a stock HR 350Z would put down, and how it would compare to my old (average) modified TT. Well, given my old TT's best Dyno was around 245 rwhp, it wins over a stock 350Z NA......by 10hp Can only thank Nissan. The only mod to this car is..... floor mats. ...well actually...they're genuin Nissan too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HDZiCWisB4 Stoked to say the least. Good day and great once again to shake some hands and drule over the nice zeds that turned up. the VG powered TT monstors putting out over 400hp are a credit to thier owners and anyone who's worked on them.
the first z was amazing and caught me off guard. Jesse's was awesome as was the brute but that skyrine made me deaf. All in all a very good event and looking foward to the next one
I was pretty disapointed that my 152hp was shit, but not shit enough for a trophy lol, i'm guessing my 10-20hp less than other stock(ish) NAs is due to the fact that i have a stock exhaust still and they don't. Was nice to meet a few new people (I didnt socialise that much, but the people I did chat with were nice). Look forward to the next event.
oh forgot to mention. Was nice to meet an Eastern Stater too. VERY nice chap. What was his name again?
looked like it was a good day for everyone there, the half hour i managed to be there i got to see one car run and there was still plenty to go! sorry to everyone for not having time to stay but prioritys as always lol.....next time congrats to Tom and the`PZP staff for putting on the show and i look forward to the next one! p.s can someone please post up the results list......?
It was great to catch up with some forum members over here in Perth, well if you could call Clarkson, Perth. Some very impressive HP figures shown by quite a few members and others showing promise of things to come. Some very nice Zeds on show and a credit to their owners. Thanks must go to AK for the test drive in his Orange Zed as the day went on, as I was starting to get withdrawl symtoms, missing my own Zed, safely stowed away in NSW. Also good to catch up with DUB again, who will be attending the Nationals next year, not far from my home, so you can bet that I'l be there as well. I hope that we get a few more from over here in the West to attend as well as those who have already indicated that they will be making the trip over. Cheers Kerry :zlove:
I was happy to show that an AT can still put down respectable power. I was the last run getting 252hp Man look at all these ferraris
I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who attended. We had a great day and it was a pleasure talking to everyone. Unfortunately I didn't have a huge amount of time to chat to everyone. Great to see some old faces and some new ones too. We'd like to get more involved with the Z community this year as we haven't had the time in the past to attend cruises, meets, etc. I'll post up the full dyno list tomorrow when I get back into the office, I forgot to bring the result sheet home with me. The people who won trophies were: Steve - Closest Conjecture (Estimated Horsepower) Kevin - Wooden Spooner (Lowest power however comes with the prize of a free dyno tune from us [PZP]) Chris - Highest Horsepower (NA Class) Andrew - Highest Horsepower (FI Class)
Ya thanks Tom for putting on a good day, heap of nice cars and good numbers, sorry I had to leave early had to get the grand Daughter home for her big 4 year old birthday party. Eddie
