This chick wants 19k for a '91 NA, apparently with 18,500k's resprayed pink and "tastefully modified" with a veilside body kit:vomit::vomit::vomit:

Fair enough if people want to start getting zed prices up again, but i think this is a tad pricey... dont you?

Don't see any mention of it being an NA(in fact it says it has a TT engine).
It's registered in the ACT, surely you must have seen it down there?

The "all in the very best possible taste" is perhaps a little over the top.

 

If that's who i think it is, then a LOT of work has gone into it. Even if it's not tastefully modified, she would have spent way more than 19k there. Quite like the sound system setup. Then again, each to their own.

 

I think i remember seeing the car around canberra?

chick use to be driving it. i think it was from wanniassa area.

but agree, 19k, NA, and ugly, can anyone see the good points?.

I've seen this car about three or four years ago on a zed cruise...maybe longer. I'm certain that it actually belongs to a bloke. I recall the colour was a mistake......it was supposed to be red only too much pearl was added and it came out ...well.....pinkish.

I wish the owner good luck with the sale . I recall it was actually in vgc and obviously the owner thinks is worth $19k.....he may well get an offer.

PS: Zed owners should sell their zeds for what they think it is worth and not be criticise on this or any other forum for doing so.

Really? maybe it was a different car i saw? the car i saw years ago was owned by a chick, but there was always 2 in it. they are the kinda chicks you would stare at driving past and forget what you were doing.

I was sooo close to getting a nice black slicktop manual TT... and then some idiot decided to break into it and stuff up the ignition so the seller took it off the market

 

Just on the NA issue...it says in the Engine section "6 cylinder Petrol Turbo 3.0L (2998cc)" but in the brief comments says "Full body kit, paint job and custom interior and massive stereo, 5 Speed manual non turbo, Show car"

I'd say they chose the wrong engine / car type in the initial setup and it is an NA.

Every now and then, when I saw a Zed like this, I think about buying it and spending money reverting it back to stock-like condition. To protect the eyes from those fortunate to have never seen it.

However, I'd only do that if this thing cost 1 digit less than it currently does. Yikes..:bash:

 

alpine s' arent much of a sound system to be honest. This na has one of the ugliest interior and exterior i have ever seen.

I saw it bout 2 mths ago. it was parked next a green zed. they where both parked out the back of a mechanics workshop in belconnen (the one behind supercheap auto). It was by far one of the worst looking zeds ive ever seen. i actually laughed pretty hard when i saw it.
