I heard Yum-E has been damaged Think it moved in the back of the trailer it was being transported in or something and damaged several panels. Guess its not a street machine anymore, just a show car. Guessing that it is still under repair and that the magazine article was done prior.
Yeah it was... The truck driver carrying Yum-e and Project Hopper over for the cabin auto salon in Perth fell asleep and run off the road. The two cars boucned a bit. Damage to the driver side rear and slight on the passenger side front.. Pic shows how the damage was covered: Click HereApparently 20g's worth of damage; with the car being airbrushed that panel can't be painted on its own, has to be the whole car! Dave Sobbi apprently cried for about 3 hours.A real shame as that car was immaculate.
he'll be crying more when I beat him at autosaloon, and take his king trophy away that car has something like 6 TV screens!! can someone tell me the purpose of one in the boot? I still haven't figured this one out yet.
showcar... ...why else would you go that insane with a car!!!He certainly can't drive it much anymore as it would take too long cleaning th bloody thing!
Yumi is pure art in motion ... nothing more, nothing less, only the best . . . . . . . . and it is a Zed ... perfection =)
You'll prolly all flame me but..> I don't like yume that much, too overdone. It gives you a headache if you stare too long. But I spose as far as show cars go it's pretty good. I'd give my left testicle for a gold plated plennum.
Correct... ...see pic:[image]http://files.franzonline.net/images/2003-03-30-CabinAutoSalon/dsc01580.jpg[/image]
*sigh* People have one of two things.... 1. Broadband or 2. Patience!Hehe, noted for future reference.
nah - post big images >> let the lesser people suffer. Get with the program people and get broadband.
Yes, Yume is over done but .... that's what it takes to win. You have to stand out from the rest. The guy deserves the credit for building a winning car. He had a great starting point, a zed=)
