And everything deleted would be useless anyway, better to eliminate any future issues.

Just FYI Cam, my '97 NA motor has no EGR or AIV from factory, that's gotta say something.

I know it doesn't... Mine also hasn't got AIV from factory. And that's the exact point, yours is "factory" without them, who knows what they did to the ECU or whatever to compensate. It's "factory" designed to not have them.

You all know my thoughts, I'm not getting into this again ;)

    Contact Joe Imbessi on 0408337283.
He works at Black Stallion Motors. Has been working on Z32s for the last 20 years, and works on a lot of cars from the forum.

That's the way to do it, not just delete stuff and make no other changes and think it'll be the same ;)

Pm sent to you Dean regarding harness for manual ;)

I can vouch for Alex (badxtc)...he is very helpful & knows a lot about zeds. He has worked on my zed before & i couldnt have asked more from him & he went out of his way to help me.

    I need this same advice,

I have contacted Alex, just waiting for a reply.
another thread talked about Ben at Racepace Motorsport doing a good tune, but i think that was a dyno tune. not sure if i need to go that far.

    I have a misfire,
i just made sure the timing mechanically was the same as what it showed on ecu talk at 15btdc.
    injectors were serviced twice,
    plugs are new,
    ptu checked and cleaned.

where's a good shop to take it too around Melbourne who can also look at whether its boosting properly?

If you can get out to Berwick I'd definitely recommend tektrader, bit of a trip from geelong of course but he's not far off the monash

    Hi Tim,

as long as they know what they are doing, I'll travel no problem.

Wayne, i 100% agree with Tim's recommendation. Graham is very knowledgable & helpful when it comes to zeds. I live on the other side compared to where he lives in Berwick, but i always take it down to him as its definitely worth the trip. Plus its always fun to see him swearing while working on the zed or trying to open my doors :p lol plus he always goes out of his way to explain what he is doing & how to do it & is always happy to answer questions. He has helped me out with the zed plenty of times & ill happily recommend him.

Definitely worth the trip if your happy to travel, as Abz said, you'll learn a bit working with him & he's a good laugh. Certainly knows his way around a zed too. Otherwise if Graham's busy try Joe as mentioned above, also good but it's a drop off & come back type deal (I prefer tekky's arrangement) & more $.

    thanks guys,
I've been in contact with Graham so will see what pans out.

for the record, adjusting the timing from 10btdc to 15btdc going also a bit by ear to the point where the miss was least as present has made a huge difference to responsiveness.

once again had a 4wd on my ass coming home from uni just now, but he disappeared when i dropped the hammer in second. wtf is their problem?
