Yeah I got mine from ebay also, I have purchased a few different types so far, the first set I got for my F100 and they were a little dull because they use the old type dash where the ambient light just shines around the outside. So I bought some super bright ones and they did the trick. So now I have several sets in different brightnesses to try out on my zed.

Here is the brighter (and more expensive) ones.

lmao, what a rip! Makes it worth the effort! I have nearly all my pics ready, just had long day at work, so I'm finishing the install in the morning ( the cars been in pieces for 2 days now :( ) I've got work 9-6 tomorrow, so I plan to put the images and a little write up on the forums after I finish :)

Soz about the delay, the rings went in with no trouble, but I got LEDs, and the ones the guy suggested I get are too long and dont align with the diffuser so it doesnt spread the light properly, so I was trying a few methods to improve it...no luck. I'm just going to put it together and order another set, dont think i can get my money back even though they have only been used for a total of 2minutes

    Cheers, Andrew

no worries man i just thought i might have missed it somewhere along the line.

incidentally i RTFM and found a guide in the tech section about pulling instrument cluster apart which might cover this install: link

i was just wondering though, i read in a different guide:

is this true? if i touch the surround at all with my fingers it will stuff it?

He he, just got mine as well. Look really nice. Now I just need a Z to fit them to:( . Well if only some sydney zedders would answer my call for help regarding the Z I need to have pre-purchase inspected, and then I could fit them up.:)
