Z32 Paint code for headlight inserts, pinstripes, etc

    Item 1 in the picture. It was a customer specified order option for the factory build. Controlled by a switch in the cabin.

    Ok, must've been an option on the car when it was delivered, but I'm pretty sure there isn't one there now.

    Rather an option the customer didn't select at time of ordering the car and the factory therefore didn't fit.

    That would make more sense, but then how did it end up in the code on the build plate?

    "F6" group on the plate designates a group of four possible factory build options of which two are always included
    (the standard options shown as "@"- powered seat and rear spoiler) one is a customer option (shown as "O" - the
    fender aerial) and one is never fitted (no "@" or "O" - cruise control). In your case the fender aerial wasn't ordered
    by the original customer.

    I've used "@" for the double circle symbol in the table above.
