I bought a Nissan scan obd tool off ebay... yes ebay
Came with the link connector to USB
And a cd with the software.

    Running Windows xp.
The cd is blank when inserted
And even when trying to install the driver it comes up as blank..

What am I missing? Does it not run off xp? It is for a laptop.

Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

Try another computer first to see or just look at the disc should see if something is burnt on it.

    I worked it out eventually-_-
My laptop didn't like the cd, I installed the drivers online instead and now have a fully functional obd reader.

Which sucks because the software has shown I have a vacuum leak and a few other things. So there goes my weekend.

    No fault codes.
But the idle duty cycle was very low (research suggests vacuum leak)
    Tps slightly out of spec
Was something else but I forgot.

Tps is easy to adjust. The vacuum leak is the hard one to find.
