diagnose issue with zed

    Need to diagnose issue with zed, car runs, but making intermittent noise, sounds bad like rod knock or lifter failure but noise not always there, just need to know issue, Rob 0419796052

    You might obtain more beneficial assistance if you state a couple of relevant details such as whether it's a TT or NA.
    If you provide your location, there may be a member in close proximity that is able to provide guidance.
    An engine compression test might be a good place to start.
    Then you could drain the oil & look for signs of metallic particles in the oil.

    Cheers, engine is a TT, have done oil change and checked oil for metallic particles, none that I could feel / see, haven't done recent compression test. live in Stafford Brisbane if anyone can diagnose? Thanks

    Do you have AC on? Could be AC compressor.
