......until last night! Wheel bearings changed resulted in a quiet run through the hills! Warm evening, roof off, it doesn't get much better. Oh how I missed her!!! Smooth through all the gears, pulls strong and hard! Simply awesome. Consequently I'm going to be giving her a bit of a thrashing at the AHG Driving Centre this Sat arvo. I could hear her whispering to me last night saying she wanted it hard! hehe
Where does someone go to get wheel bearing done? Wheel/tire shop? Mechanic? Congrats on your little romp Franz
I went to a mechanic as there were other small things that needed to be done at the same time. They outsourced the work to someone else who had a press to press the bearings out. I would suspect a tyre/suspension place would be the best place to take it for that if thats all that was getting done.
See this is the problem with having 2 great vehicles. Its the same with work shirts...I don't like to have to choose between 10 work shirts, so I only have 3 and I simply alternate through them each week. I don't like too many choices!
Wheel bearings are pretty easy to do. All you need is a vice, but if you have access to a press then its even easier. really nothing to it
