I agree JT, an extra lap (or 4) on the long track would have really helped. especially those members who are unfamiliar with Wakefield park. To try and make sense of the classes that were used on Sunday you need to go back to the entry form. Type 1 - Standard Basically standard cars. Type 2 - Modified Cars with minor modifications. Type 3 - Racing Dedicated race cars. Type 4 - Rotory/Turbo Rotory and turbo powered cars. On top of that there were the different capacities within each class, but the highest they used was 3.5 to 4 liters, which really should have read 3.5 and above. So JT you won in the Turbo over 3.5 class and Andy was in the Modified class (don't ask me because I still don't understand how they worked all that out) and I placed myself in the race class since essentially that is all my car is, and won that class for over 3.5 liter.
Yep top weather and not easy to run such a big multi event like this, overall it was good. Not sure if all the trophies were handed out on the presentation night? I was suprised there weren't faster times with the best conditions I have ever expereinced there. I was very dissapointed to have The Slot Car not make it to the best part of the event, the full track. We were lucky to even have the car ready for the event with so much to do with new engine etc. Looking forward to the next one and the Island in two years, awesome track that one.
Heya Dino, Ahhhhhh.... Yes... It was zipped into, and hiding, in an internal pocket in Leah's handbag the whole time... ... ... Leah was suitably embarrassed, ha, ha, ha! Lil' Baz..... :zlove:
Loved your pics of space...they were amazing to see, you added a whole new angle to the weekend for me and others...Thank you...Even if it was Bloody Cold..Brrrrr
Looks like a great weekend, some beautiful cars in the pics & trophies to take home . The Z32 community did itself proud

Fantastic Event, the show and the track day were great! Cheers to all who organised it this great weekend. Presentation was a shambles though. Tips - get an MC that can talk, have a program, present while people are eating and show pics or talk about why each person won that trophy. Presentation was same as last time - WTF! I got a tropy and didnt know about it till after the event. MB
