hi guy i have a greddy profec b i need to find out if i can get spare parts for this unit or i have to buy a new 1, i have snapped off the valve on the back of the unit where the vacume line goes to, can u replace this part ?
At $500 odd dollars I dont blame you for trying to fix it. Gluing is quiet feasible with the right glue. Are you able to remove the case and take some pictures of what is some sort of PCB mounted MAP sensor, you might get lucky and get a brand or a part number. Something like this Motorola item: http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/mpx4250-bar-map-sensor-p-106.html
STOPPP !!! I found some pictures of the insides of a Greddy Profec B II. Heaps of ways to go about it, you could just run a tube to the sensor with a small amount of glue or small cable tie to stop it pulling off. and just hang the tube out the back with a joining barb (aquarium or irrigation shop shop might have), or if your really cheap just use the bit that broke off. I'm sure there will be other suggestions.
