Someone has hit my ZX and snapped off the driver's side mirror. It has broken off completely and hanging by the wire. Where do I get a new mirror? How can I stick it back on temporarily (so I can still drive)? I tried double-sided tape and it failed epically First my car gets egged and now this. I've only owned the car for 3 months FFS :bash: If I have to pour any more money into the car I swear I will just keep it.. Anyway, if someone could answer those questions it would be a great help Thankyou.
put a wanted thread up for one. ring the wreckers... take the trim off from the inside area, should be mounted by bolts... and get the car off the fkn road :bash:
With that one line we could replace the entire tech library! On a more useful note a wanted ad here will help as a few people are wrecking cars and I have had reasonable luck for Zed stuff on www.findapart.com.au too.
To make it easier for you, and you have a spare couple hours its possable to just change the insides and reuse the coloured bits. assuming they are not broken.
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm gonna go nuts with the tape once I get some Tektrader, I might take you up on that offer. I've got another mate that's doing some searching around for me first though. I have no choice unfortunately. No garage!
Our council fines cars that are parked on the nature strip. My neighbors all got done for it a few months ago and haven't parked on the grass since. Unfortunately my mum's POS Commodore VN gets priority of the driveway over my zed
Take Tektraders offer, that's cheap. If the mirror fits your car man go for it. I had similar bad luck to you recently, but was very lucky to score one on here after laughing myself nearly blind at Nissan's quote of $760 for a new d/side mirror. You'll prob just need to get it painted to match your baby. Good luck with it... Gina
