Apexi pod filters + performance/ 300zx shops in Perth

Hey guys, just wondering where i can get an Apexi pod filter in Perth??

Also im hoping that you guys can let us know of good performance/ 300:zlove:x shops here in Perth.

Get a 3A pod, even better and much cheaper.

pod filters are a waste of money u cant even hear them ;D

 

hmmmm well the main reason one buys a pod filter is for increased airflow not for the sound...

 

I can hear my 3A, sounds like a vacuum.

 

lol,he must be a ricer,like you said,they are not for the sound ,we have an apexi on all 3,cant hear a single difference in sound,its all in the mind

I should have seen that one coming but the 3A did give me some great induction "hoover" sound.

 

Yeah, i ddint notice any 'Induction noise" either when i put an apexi on mine... tho my mate put one on his civic and it did sound like a chainsaw....in a bad way...

 

Probably because it doesn't flow as well as, a 3A.

You get less resistance, which allows the engine to suck in more air.

i can hear mine in tunnels, and higher RPM.

no difference in power.
although when i fitted it, i got a lumpy idle.. was a quick fix though

 

put some magnaflows on and you wont

 

chrome noob was a reference to ure taste but whatever. next time i listen to a fellow zed owner i wont take it in.

just doing a more power specific "one off" mod before fitting them.

hahaha nah not that easy. it's 2 things actually. a "one off" never done on a z32 before thing, and a noted 2 complete on a z32 and 1 attempted but changed on a z32 thing.
