ADDING TRANSMISSION OIL???............. WHERE?

    Just added an aftermarket transmission cooler to my auto 1990tt and i was wanting to top up the transmission oil, only problem is i dont know where to add it.

    Could someone let me know, a picture would be great!

    Oh and could you let me know the best type of oil to use.

    redline is probally the most used on the forum..

    have a look at the tech section (top right) give that a quick search and it will reveal all

    transmission oil filling point is the tube which holds the tanny oil dipstick .....

    location is right up against the firewall ..draw a line straight back from the centre and rear of the engine ...

    I can't find anything that suggests he has an Auto, so this is a slightly confusing question(he'll have heaps of fun looking for a dipstick, if he has a Manual trans).:zlove::zlove::zlove:

    ..am working on it ... for example, i am running Black Bess at 36psi at the moment and am getting great performance ...

    ... just a shame that is in the tyres ... lol...!!!!

    did you not realise that is why i have a cork plugged into each ear ... prevents vaccuum leaks .....

    i should put that one in the tech section ..... lol....
