well the ones UAS and the guys over in the states sell are for LHD zeds. so they dont fit properly without some fabrication. so he's asking if these are those types......... matzx, an idea call them and ask where they got them from. if they are TTZ or a copy from an AUS company. lemme know haha.
thought that as much, however the asking question wasnt all clear. my apologies. for an NA are there really any vast improvements made by aftermarket headers. Obviously if it was ported and high flowed, but for the general stock used NA engine, is there any improvements over the factory manifolds? keen to know.
nah dont apologize mate clicky clicky honestly i heard they dont make that much of a difference without the full exhaust but then again i heard only tonight, that a friends N/A had considerable amount of low end torque gain after the header install. im very keen to see if these are made in australia, if so, the quality of them also. + free postage is a bonus i guess.. but you know ebay... cheaper for a reason lol. but yeah.. im going to snap up a set if it turns out true.. heres to hoping
Those ebay ones look the same as my ttz headers, can't say for sure regarding the o2 bungs whether they are in the same place as mine but looks like they are.
it says the company selling is based in SA, so theres a chance they may be australian made.....depends on wether they are making them or just onselling them.... as far as performance benefits go,the headers do make a nice litle power/torque gain on the cars ive seen have them fitted....and the exhaust note changes too, becomes i bit raspier/meaner....
ministryofbass that's a car-audio shop on south road actually, I drive past it every day I go to work For those playing at home; it's near the Repco where goodwood road + south road meet. I'm considering going down there and seeing if this is actually them Cheers, Tom
So he just gets them from overseas without even knowing that they won't fit RHD zeds, yet advertises on Australian ebay? He's a dumb cnt, isn't he? -Kirill
Sorry guys should have mentioned I emailed them. Had the same response. I knew it was too good. Dammit
wrong ,u.s headers will interfere with the steering and need to be modded Besides that ,ebay headers are thin walled junk just waiting to crack, stay away and get quality,do it once ,do it right !!
Don't know who is the "dumb **nt" here, as if they are sold in Japan they MUST fit R/Hand drive cars(being that Japanese cars are R/H drives).:zlove:
Well they are sold here too, so that also means that they must fit RHD :W: Lol! Go to a reputable exhaust shop and see how much for them to make you up a set. Exotic Exhaust at Sumner Park would do it (Brisbane). Surflo in Sydney would probably do it too. You could do it yourself if you have a MIG and a angle grinder, it really isn't that hard.
I got quoted $600 per cylinder bank from Exhaust technologies on goodwood road (Adelaide) not keen for $1200 bucks for headers ^-^
well its your only option other than second hand. got confirmation these headers ARE for LHD zeds. ttz no longer stock / can get them (thanks peter black LOL) so custom it is..
Not sure what you mean Chili, they will not fit RHD zeds full stop, Japanese or Australian specs. All I'm saying is it's irresponsible to advertise these as "FOR 300zx NA" and not specify that they will NOT fit - it's unlikely anyone who buys zed parts from Aus eBay will have a LHD zed. -Kirill
simon changed it mate. he thanked me for point out they may be for LHD zeds. and then he amended the post. unfortunate, but atleast he had the guts to say he is wrong and fix it.
