A friend & I went out to the National cemetery in Point Loma today. Shots were a bit rushed because we felt like a couple of jerks but here they are in all their glory. More were taken but these are the ones that turned out at least semi-decent.
Did you get to see anything unusual while you were there? I didnt think they were allowed to lay them at rest so close to the road edge... i dont like that.... Some nice pics
you have allready seen how people have reacted on . tt.net dude.. thats a very disrespectful thing 2 do
I don't reckon. They've all been dead for 60 years after fighting so people can do as they please on the Weekend. Wouldn't bother me in the least if I was a dead guy, or one of my relatives were buried there. It's not like you did a photo shoot at a church with the hearse with a dead person in the back.
I think its more so if youre taking photos of peoples resting places - like up close.... in the background - you cant see any names etc so its ok - just unusual....
If it was like an old skool gothic style grave yard, low light, moody cars, I think the concept would work well. Even white zeds I guess (ghosts) I dont know this grave yard but I'm assuming its a war memorial? hmmm...need to treat it a little differently. Oddly, a tank would make a good photo here. A white Zed? dunno SO while I understand and appreciate the idea, maybe this was a poor choice of location and setup?
hey... just out of interest, I wonder what a search for posts, in the last 6 to 8 months, where I use "hate" in reference to my zed, would actually turn up. I find my reputation amusing however it is now outdated. Stay on topic :zlove:
Its not like he kicked over the grave stones. I think some people need to get off their high horses. What about every time you see a cemetery in the movies do you abuse the directors? The photos do look a tad rushed, but they aint bad.
Come on guys , ease up. I think its a great photoshoot , but maby not the best choice of place. But its great to see some good overseas Zed's ,, go the white / pearls. Cheers Patrick
No high horse from me. I think I actually condoned the idea, but just said I'd personally do it differently. Nice photos. I just don't think THAT grave yard suits. Each to their own.
that has got to be the weirdest possible location for a photoshoot. i'm not going to join in the bashing about disrespect and all that but why would you want your take photos of your zed in a cemetery? makes no sense what so ever.
Oddly enough, I think that would be a far far worse thing to do. At least the cars are completely unrelated to the location, whereas tanks at a war memorial would be a massively disrespectful. This is an odd place to take zed pics I must admit, but it could be worse. Maybe i'm lucky to have a few abandoned graveyards in my local area, so if the need ever arises to do some shhhpooky p/shoots, I have some not-as-disrespectful places to go
