when you order nistune he will ask for the numbers on the side of the ecu, and give you the right one

Anyone interested in a GB on Nistune? I want to get one for my V8 and I know of few other people interested for the VG.

prob is who is going to tune it for ur zed in vic. there are a few places that do nistune in vic but have they tuned zeds :)

u could try them and see how u go i guess....

Well I'm planning on extending the GB to include widebands as well. So tune it yourself. Tuneing a Z is like tuning any other Nissan, with Nistune it's like using a Microtech or Haltech, the software is easy and if you stick to good tuning practise it will work just fine.

I use an LC-1 works really well, heard good things about tech-edge widebands as well

there was a thread about zeds being tuned differently to other nissans. ur tuners that are familiar with the skylines, silvias, etc generally tune the zeds the same way. but its wrong. k values etc are diff in the zeds. for example my car, mafi's car, sim300's car where all tuned by a nissan tuner that was very familiar with silvias etc. but when tuned the zeds it was a diff ball game. personally i ended up getting more power and better power from less psi etc... i remember sims car didnt even start after the tune and had to be fixed up by 90ttz ....personally id like to go to someone who is familiar with zed tuning....

if we have someone in vic that can tune nisstune with zeds i would definatly have one already ive only heard good things about it.

Its not different at all, all there really is to it is AFR's and timing, you dont have to mess with K values unless your changing injectors. I would say its more important to find a tuner that is familiar with Nistune to get the most out of it.

I agree , i was able to pick up 6 tenths et(drags) mainly due nistune/wideband , It also has consult, and the logging feature makes it very easy to chase the tune . The tp line combined with the afm voltage shows you very quickly which way your power is headed .

Well list price is around $400 for the daughter board and a licence for the software. If you are getting it tuned by a workshop you would probably be better off just going to the shop, there is no point buying software that you won't use.

I'll put up a proper thread soon enough for a EOI.
