Just in the process of removing my gearbox, however I can't seem to remove the starter motor, I can't remove one of the bolts and now its a bit rounded off so it's even harder to remove. Can I still remove the Gearbox and replace the clutch with the starter motor attached?

you may be able 2 wrench the box out. getting it back in will be a problem..

get the old bolt out with vice grips or a grip socket

if vice grips dont work use a chisle to tap it on the edges so it rotates

    Try

Try using a single hex socketof the correct size, if you havent got one just go down to super cheap or cash converters to get one.

If you still can't get it after all that, cut it off with a grinder.

You using multi point sockets? Get the correct hex socket. If its too rounded for that, get a smaller hex socket and bash it on!

Or vice grip it to death and tap it off. Use inox or mouse milk or something prior.

with my suspension botls that got rounded of due to a shit buggerd socket I got a dremel and slowley shaved the nut down real cloe to the thread then just twisted what was left with multi grips and it twisted off.

Also you can cut aline down the nut and chisel it of much quicker but be care ful you dont cut nto the thread on the stud.

    ?

Is it the bolt or the stud?. If the bolt grind the head off and get it out later, if it is the stud use a nut splitter on it. I think you can buy these from super cheap if not, try covs
