Bit too much on the ideas chad.. Removing Door Handles will make your car 100% unroadworthy, same with Side Indicators as they are factory fitted I got a mate who did that stuff to his Civic for "show" purposes, got defected and now his gotta take an grinder to his doors to reinstall handles.. Its for safety purposes, IE. Driver Unconscious, engine fire... etc.. Don't Blend the skirts as its Fiberglass and Sheet metal Metal expands and contracts, Fiberglass doesn't, Cracking is inevitable
i agree with the side skirts - i've seen people do it and just a few knocks and nudges, a bit of time and they look terrible. better of having a join line but having it look straight.
ummmmmmmmmmmm wow i have never seen my car so fkn sexy :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: just cant stop looking at it. went to pick it up today but i didnt take it. thought id pay the extra bit and get him to block the whole car and buff it up hard. the paint looks so sexy with veryyyy little orange peel. it does have a lil bit of dust bits here and there hence why i have chosen not to take the car from him... he is going to spend another whole day on it. he is going to completly block the whole car and get all those dust particles out and get rid of the minor orange peel it has. he is also going to line up my doors as they are not aligned perfectly atm. then buff the whole car completly. he has no doubt that the whole car will look the same so no swirl marks etc etc on the rest of the body. im so happy with it alll, cant believe how good he has got everything. the gaurds line up perfectly on the door side now. flush as. the nose is sooooo straight and the gap is 100% pefect between the nose and the bonnet. just excellent. cant wait to pick it up tomorow night with a fresh car. whole car will have everything lined up 100% now. plus looking oh so sexy :drool::drool::drool::drool: i also cant believe how good he matched the paint. my paint has a green pearl in it and the colour he sprayed looks so close that you cant even pick the difference, he put just the right amount of green pearl in it... some pics i took quickly, will take more when i get it back from whole block/buff (these pics seriously dont do it justice, these pics are straight off the gun. looks like glass. and when i get it tomorow it should look even more shinier):
sorry i havnt replied to some of the responses in here i havnt had the time. so here we go.... ye for sure, just let me know and ill hook u up dude uve gotta explain it to me more better. i checked out the techs but i seriously dont get it yet lol pm sent 4 sure from a mate that works at a panel shop...pm me if u want his details there will still be door handles. just not on the panel of the door. it will be on the piller thing where the window is. like a little latch or something that you will hardly see gaurd indicators will still be there but wont be the stock ones. will be something smaller and flush with the body, so installed from the inside and sitting flush with the body so it wont be in or sticking out etc.... point taken about blending in. in the end i might not do that as most jobs ive seen look very tacky etc. but some do look so good lol... see how we go...
Looks great Chad, I will have to have a better look on the GOR run. If it looks as good in the flesh as in the pictures (I am sure it will) I will have to get you to get me in touch with him for some work I want done too.
Yeah, I have everything else ready except that, damn well hurry up and make some. It will be good to be able to take it to somewhere through someone i know's reccomendation rather than just to a random place that 'looks OK'. I have not had much luck with panel shops, nothing really bad fortunately but nothing great either.
oh trust me, anyone that knows me knows im a VERY VERY picky person. i seriously busted this guys balls. pics just dont do it justice, it looks like glass in person :drool::drool: and everything lines up so perfectly it seriously looks like it just came out of the factory like this. ohhhhhhh dude GAME on. cant wait till i get it back tomorow. lets do a photoshoot with ur excellent camera on sunday :drool::drool:
