300zx 2 Seater Sub Boxes - Suit 10" & 12"

Do targa's still fit

Hi peter gasit here from townsville just a question do the targa's still fit in hte boot with the boxes in ?

yeah that is the point of these boxes - for 2 seater anyway.

 

The two plus two boxes will be designed differently to the two seater, but I'll still be making them to fit targas in the boot. The boxes will be larger due to the shallower boot. I'll be starting to design and build the initial plug box ASAP - my guess is within two weeks. Remember guys, this is done in my spare time, and I haven't had much lately.
There will be a slight difference in price as my materials costs have gone up since last time I bought them, and the box is going to use more materials because they're going to be larger. I'll cost the box when I do the initial plug, but I'll try and keep it as close to the cost of the 2 seater box as possible.

My box arrived today, thanks Peter.

It looks well made, and fits pretty well in the corner.

Does anybody have any good ideas on how to secure it so it is still easily removable, nothing too visible, and secure enough not to come loose in an accident ?

I'll send you a strap to secure it, It just screws into the top of the box
and tucks behind the plastic. Then you can put in a false floor and hey presto it won't budge
This is exactly what I will be doing and a few other members too

This is the box sitting in the car. Very unobtrusive, you hardly notice it. Not sure if you could fit the targas in with one box on either side though




It actually fits pretty well in the boot of the convertible too

 

I'll get you a photo of mine as I have one either side.

 

T tops will fit you have to turn them the other way
It's a tight fit but i made sure they would fit
