How much for a reo bar?

    Does anyone know how much a good condition reo bar would sell for? (second hand obviously)

    What about SMIC ducting?

    bout $100 for the reobar and $20 a side for the ducts :)

    i would have said $101 for the reobar and $19 for the ducting.....but yeah...trev is probably closer lol

    Ive seen reo bars sell for any where between $50 and $150 i just took a happy medium :D
    As for the ducts their not worth much .

    another name is a tail of a kangaroo.

    reobar is the tail, roobar is the penis of the animal.

    Reinforcement bar.

    Sits behind the stock front bar and is supposed to give reinforcement/protection in the case of collision. Also houses foggies. Is usually removed when fitting aftermarket frontbars or front mount intercoolers.

    Also thanks heavy & ed, for sale thread now made.

    So if your fitting a after market front bar how do you house the foggies?

    its stock.. sits behind the front bar..

    your fog lights bolt to it.

    if the aftermarket front bar hasnt been designed to accomodate the reo bar it will usually have a built in bracket or srewing holes for you to mount such items....

    in saying that...most aftermarket frontbars dont have foggie loctions on them....some not even parking lights

    im getting an intercooler kit soon and i think it wont fit unless i take of the reo bar so if someone wants to buy mine for 100$ let me know :D

    i modded mine when i fitted a fmic so i could have foggies..... now i have a bomex the foggies are race taped in, so i have a modded 1 that fits a stock front bar and fmic spare

    I run

    A front mount and a 2k bar and still have the reo bar in place,
    just need some slight modification is all.:cool:

    put it this way, if you have a crash and then insurance company inspects the car, they wont be giving you a payout if you have removed, or modded the reo bar :(
