hey all i was wondering if any one has had a look at this 300zx as i was interested in it but dont want to travel 600km to be very dissapointed.

4.4k for a twin turbo.. i honestly would say dont bother..
u gotta be careful because some people dont take care if the zeds and just let the wear out.. for a decent tt ur looking at spending about 8k or more... im not saying u cant find a good one under that but be careful that it might have been flogged untill it will bearly move....

Claims of having a Body Kit, Adjustable Steering Column, Sun Roof, and being "KRIM" in colour, would all be warning signs of worse things to come IMHO.

So wheres the leather trim and the sun roof.

Just dosen't read right to me.

go see the car, if its good, buy it, if not, dont buy it... i dunno why people put these kinds of posts up when all you gotta do is take 20 minutes or so to go have a look.

cheap doesnt always mean BAD with zeds. My workmate has a TT zed thats stock as a rock and has been in storage for 10 years, he had it in the paper for 5,000$ because he didnt know what the going price was for them, sometimes your just lucky to buy from someone whos stupid.

 

Or sometimes you buy from someone who's getting married in a week!
End result, got my TT for $5k, JAP service history and original documents, titanium key, and apart from 100k service stuff, have had no issues, pulled a healthy figure on the dyno too!! Moral of the story? Never get married!

problem is he lives 600km away from the car. he'd be better of looking at something closer to where he lives.

 

try reading before replying.

600KMs away isn't the same as 20mins away.

 

i see rust under the passenger tailight, looks like damage from backing into a pole

A phone call also isn't very trustworthy though.

See if you can find someone near by that you can trust and knows what to look for to go have a look for ya.

The idiot obviously doesnt know what he's selling but it still might be worth a look. Could be an awesome car and he doesn't know what its worth.

 

some one to look at it

as i posted earlier im 600km away, i did notice the rust in the rear but am not too concernd with it as i have just finished all body work on my 260z and have quite a good idea how to fix it properly, the reason why i asked if any one has had a look at it is because i have no one who knows anything about zds up in sydney and dont wont to waste my time traveling 600km to be quite dissipointed. is there any one on the fourm who live close to marylands who could duck over there, have a 5 minuite look, a lap around the block for me in it and let me know what its like im not too concered whith the body as i only want it for a daily driver. any help would be appreciated.
