Also we would have the option of making a better brace that goes all the way to lower control arm which would really hold everything together. Waiting on some more info on this option...

Cro-mo is looks just like steel, only lighter and stronger. Good stuff and many times more expensive than your normal Gr. 350 mild steel.

I'm pretty interested in a fancy super brace bar, keen to hear prices and then we can work out what we want to do as a group, maybe the option of either.

yeah i'm looking for something lighter , i think if we were to start using steel throughout the car , with all these bits and peaces , it will add so much weigh to the car ........

    UAS Brace More Info

Just some more info on the UAS brace. The two options as mentioned are standard castor rod support brace which is chrome molly and non-adjustable (does not need to be adjustable unless you have bent frame rails :D) and $110.

The second option (waiting on quote) is the full sized brace going all the way to control arms. Pic below is an ultraracing brand cefiro brace, the Zed one UAS are doing (not currently available anywhere for Zed, only GTR etc) would be curved not boxy as it does not need to brace against big engine cross member.

it looks like that pic is from a skyline ,
just one thing , i don't really want to to sit to low as it may hit the road for street driving , lets hope it sit up and hides itself ,,, some zeds out there are low ,, whats the go with that ..... is it going to sit to low?????

no it looks good ,, but keep in mind that pic is from a r33 , so it may be different ,,,, something that hides and is tucked in, we will all benefit, having all the same zed ( to low ) problem .
even on some stock zeds the front is low ,
now in that pic it seems to be 1 inch lower then the subframe, this could be a problem for many of us .. don't forget we got a longer nose.......

the r33 sits higher stock to stock , so i don't really see a problem with the r33 as the zed is lower

but all in all rob will sort it out ......

Don't worry that pic is just to show what we are getting at. The zed one will be u shaped rather than box shaped and will fit up nicely. I was expecting some pics of the actual brace in my inbox today but looks like they got busy.
