didn't the other one happen the other day? Once again, i'm working, but i shall attempt to get it off (only if a few more people will attend). I'm more in for the social side of it cos i only have an adaptor for the water temp gauge as of yet
I am out for this one I am afraid, I will be interstate. Shame really, I am going to need to do the same thing soon and would have liked to see how it is done.
don't worry i'm sure we can all organise another day soon where i can make it too what gauges are you putting in Peter?
you serious? i was the one that came up with this idea and i ended up getting barred... lol anyone else down for this sunday?
lol i knew you came up with the other date and i suggested another one as i couldn't make it and neither could a few other people. Then everyone chose last Sunday which i couldn't make, same with this coming one. I just assumed you went to the other one too.
Not 100% sure yet to be honest, I want to get 3 to put in the spare stereo DIN, definitely coolant temp, probably oil temp and air/fuel ratio though someone has suggested a wide band sensor could be better.
i've got coolant temp, fuel pressure and oil pressure for mine. I was going to have oil temp instead of pressure, but my order was a bit stuffed up. But that's ok, happy with oil pressure. I kind of put mine in the lower DIN as you can prob see from my other thread, but made it more permanent. Pretty happy with the results
I saw that set up you made, not bad I am going to move my stereo to the bottom DIN and try to get a pre made fitting to put the guages in the top one. Why did you choose fuel pressure?
cheers. I chose fuel pressure as i figured it's a fairly important sector. Don't wanna pop a hose off and be pissing fuel everywhere and not notice (though i guess it'd be hard to not notice). Probably one of the least likely things to go wrong but oh well
