united .... ethonal 95!!!! Save big $$$$ .... untill you rebuild the week later... :bash: :bash: :vomit: lol....dont see petrol going down.....EVER ;/
Yep! the Government is on a roll, so why stop at $1.62. By the end of this year, I can see us paying over $2.00 per litre. It's easy to blame the oil companies for the continual rises. How else can the Government rip ppl off, and legally get away with it???? It's all just 1, massive conspiracy, to keep the little people down at a level, where we can be easily controlled, an manipulated.
"Drive offs" were something that used to happen 2 or 3 times a month at our local servo...... Its now a daily occourance ! I fueled up on Tuesday at the local servo and the car in front of me ( old statey ) had just had the tank filled and the 'owner' was starting to fill the first of four 20lit drums in the boot.... ( common thing filling extra drums in a small rural comunity... farm use ) As I stood there in the land of la la I noticed he had no rego plate on the back of the old statey...... bit odd and risky too ! We finished re-fueling at the same time, I opened the door to get my wallet and he got into his car and simply drove off !!!!! I got a call from the servo owner about an hour later and had to go back and have a yak to him and the local coppers about the drive off I'd witnessed.... His face was 'unseen' on the security vid and no rego plates on either the front or rear of the car..... 168 lits ........ gone ! One of the coppers said they had video footage of the same car doing the same thing at 11 other servos over the last 6 months !!! With the current price of fuel..... and seeing its now a large % of most ppls wage to actually buy fuel..... I'm not supprised that ppl are prepared to risk so much ! What will it be like when we do see $2.00 plus a lit ? Kingy
youve just gotta feel sorry for all those with cars that wont run on regular unleaded and are paying 1.68 for premium.
Paid $1.55 for Ultimate on friday. I was bloody happy.... no idea why it was so cheap, especially on a public holiday.
about time too. I was getting worried with Petrol being so undervalued in this country If something is a GOOD thing... make it EXPENSIVE i say YAY FOR HIGH PRICE PETROL
Ah a man after my own heart And its true. I was contemplating this just yesterday... how around thw world (in the "west" ) the little person over the last few years has become equity rich. Luxury goods have dropped HUGLEY in price, and we have begun to live almost in a sociaty where "most" of us can litterally afford whateveer we want (within reason). For a poorper like myself to even be contemplaing buying a ferrari in few years is a sign of this..... but noooooooooo Suddenly there's a "global" swing the other way, interest rates go up, house values drop, rentals go up etc etc, petrol, food etc etc start to rise...... wages..... dont really climb in comparison Now im sorry.... but the Federal Reserve Bank making all these interest rate rises is (without the politcle/mathmaticle shine on things) them saying "Shit..... we not making AS MUCH profit as normal, and the little people are getting the benifit.... time to balance things up in our favour again" Thats all it is. No matter the reasons behind it... thats EXACTLY what it is
>.> your insane... I hope you were being sarcastic... Go back to England if you want higher petrol prices! A lot of people find it hard to keep their cars on the roads... i know as a Uni student and working only as a casual employee its sometimes hard too... The government should be doing more to regulate the prices... I mean, how can it vary so much from state to state and then even from day to day... a 10c price hike in one day is ridiculous. Anywho... If someone wants to buy a kidney so I can afford $2 a litre let me know.
Yeah fuel in my area has been all over the shop..at the moment it's: Apco - $1.46 Shell - $1.49 Mobil - $1.55 All I'm saying is..I'm glad I'm not getting premium or ultimate ..actually I was just thinking, don't the fuel companies advertise it as $149.9? Or am I getting confused now..
Too right Benny but then again we may be rebuilding our engines next week according to iCER..... Most of us coming back from Cowra ran 95RON for over 1000KM. K-zed and myself are regular uses of 95RON too.
naughty boy are you buying 98 octane ??? sounds like 95... i dont c what the big deal is about really, petrol is still cheaper than beer and coke!!!! if u want fuel efficiency by a bike or ride the bus! oh yeh PS... in germany they are paying the equivalent of 8 bucks a litre. so quit your complaining!
Just add turbos and you may have another story ... unless you're not running much boost or advanced timing on jap tune.
