Well might need to do some fast talking to get myself out of todays debacle . Yes I got us lost (twice!!!) and in my defence...I have none So I'm sorry we got lost, we did finally make it in the end and somehow I was served my meal before Maree and Gavin, sorry again. The road I had planed was great, the only trouble was I was the only one who got to go on it and I can't remember how I found it. All I know is that my ice cream was tasty and would have sufficed as lunch if I didn't make it to lunch. I think I'll leave it to the professionals from now on... And a note to anyone navigating with the aid of whereis.com, don't do it. Whew
doh! Sounds like fun...! Sorry i didnt make it this morning, had a late night, which ended up with my mates car being stolen somehow... Been one of those weekends i guess. Found it now but the asshole who stole it crashed the car then ran. Also my cars started running like crap so im probably not going to do any big cruises until i can afford for it to get checked out and properly serviced. Hope you guys had fun anyways _b
Was an interesting cruise, we even had a brief visit to NSW Didn't have my Z, but was a PSA in a pretty mental GTR. I'll post piccies later.
Getting lost is half the fun isn't it. I enjoyed seeing the Springbrook QLD/NSW area for the first time - twice . Definately not targas off weather though with intermittent showers up in the mountains. Great driving - although its a pity I had an R32 GTR slowing up proceedings most of the way. Aren't they meant to be quick (for sedans at least )
sounds interesting, i wish i couldve come havent been on any cruises in quite a while but unfortunately i have an exam tommorow at uni
the "engineers make lousy navigators cruise" ... lol.... .. turned out to be a great day out, max ... don't worry about it ..... plenty of fun driving in a 100km cruise that turned into a 200km cruise .. fun stuff ... .. it was good to finally catch up with the recently arrived pomgolian, scrawni .. but i really do think he should be called "beefie" .... lol.... a large lad, indeed .... .. and max .. to navigate by "where is" is not a problem ... cruise notes were tops and correct ... just do not turn left when your notes and map say ... turn right .. lol..    .. thanks all for another excellent zed day .....:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
Despite getting lost twice. It turned out to be an ok cruise. Took some paint of my front bar being a nob but its only a minor flesh wound. Pity Mia and I arent well as we would have liked to enjoy lunch a bit more.
good job Max - we had a great time as usual, and I don't care whether we are heading in the right direction or taking a 'scenic route' as long as we get to do some 'spirited' driving together shame about there being no oysters kilpatrick at the pub, but that just brings up an excuse to go back again soon
doing a one point U-turn on wet grass, with the accerator, not seeing the small ditch and digging the LF corner of the bar into the grass and mud. :bash:
Cruze rules. Hey I remember on some early cruzes a few years back we always used to keep the person behind in sight. I forgot to make a mention of it on sunday. Should we remind everyone of this helpful hint to avoid loosing people in future or has this been phased out? Of corse if your waved past as I did to some on sunday and get lost it's my own fault lol
Great Drive had lots of fun. Always good to catch up. Lady Zac wasnt sick all over my car which was also a bonus - gotta love car sickness tablets. Cheers for the run home AZA was great. Over.
