why why why???? the bulb holder socket for my newly arrived nismo clear side indicator is not the same as the old yellow one? this new one is for 2 clips whilst the old one for three clips wedge bulb holder. they have the same part no though.Can I get the bulb holder separately? anyone experience the same? post scriptum:they are from perfect run undoubtly the service was excellent.
i thought so. but the 2 left tabs (irrerspective which one i take off) wont be opposite to each other to be squared to the socket.. it wont be because the olds tabs are equally distanced.
that would be my last choice. i will try to find the two clip bulb holder first ...from jaycar, you reckon?
99% of us have used a small file to carry out the needed mod to have the indicator to fit properly ... easy, peasy if this dildo can do it ...:biggrin: :biggrin: .. there will also be heaps to found on search for this particular job....
Try a wrecker.... I believe Sylvia's have the correct bulb connector for the clear side indicators.......you can pick them up for a few bucks & hard wire them to your existing wires!
lol and mate, why spend money on a holder when all you have to do is file the back, it doesnt make any difference. just use a file, save yourself some money, it VERY easy
been to wreckers newby. nothing. some suggest create a slug. i go with the opinion of cutting the 2 tabs.going to take out the small 2 tabs ok????would sit ok enough so water cant go into the light cover?
