Was at kwinana yesterday night to watch the Jets... but as i just walked through the gates i seen a yellow 300zx doing a skid, full drag spec haha. Chevy motor... gf took pics ad got a video of it, must post it up at a later date, im just wondering if anyone has anymore info on this beast?? ran a 7.82:zlove:
i remeber seing a drag spec 300zx running A vg30DEt (single turbo) pull a late 7 im pretty sure...cant remeber where i saw it though.... i cant wait to see ur pic and vid though...get it posted man

i think its for the weight to be put down on the left side simon, so that when it wheelies it doesnt rotate as much (with all that power moving all those rotating parts haha)??
More than likely it's an American built car that was transported to Australia, which is the case with the majority of serious drag cars with the exception of a few.
Powered by a small block Chev, somewhere around the 383c.i. mark. It could just as easily have been built here in Oz - one reason for LHD is that some drags transmissions are engineered for easier use in LHD installations. He was running 7.9's in Jan 2007. I've seen this around morley on a trailer before. quite a mean looking machine...but certainly no longer a zed.
Lives in a workshop in Malaga. New motor is on its way. Motor is in the $85000+ mark!!! Should run 6's when its in.
