flash .... am trying to resist the temptation .. although

a 2+2 would be my first preference .....

.. but one igno question ... are not the engine compression test results, at around 130-140 across all cylinders, somewhat at the low end of the scale ...???

    ..appreciate advice ....

Compression results are relative, not absolute.

Magnitude often varies with the compression tester. Important is that all the values are close togetherf

Thanks for the answer Stef - I've pulled out the Compression readings which I had done, mind you this was done on 20/01/05 (3 years ago) when she had 92,489km. IF anyone is really curious I can scan and send it to them or post it on here.

    Cylinder 1 - 140
    Cylinder 2 - 140
    Cylinder 3 - 140
    Cylinder 4 - 140
    Cylinder 5 - 140
    Cylinder 6 - 145

The car has done just over 125,000km now so no idea if there is any difference with an additional 30k on the odometer.
