Cheers guys, that first link even he couldnt find the write up he did I did manage to find that post myself through search, but I was hoping someone had the original article That 2nd one is plenty cool too, although Im actually looking at using it for a different vehicle to the Z, but I bet it can help some members out I'll shoot him a PM and see what he can find... I did go through his posts one by one, and still couldn't find it... I hope it hasn't been deleted
did my targa ones, looks great, ive got new genuine on the other panels and new oem targa ones if i can be bothered replacing it.. heatshrinks vs oem... you cant tell the difference really. one thing is that u cant heatshrink the main trim along the winscreen
i would of thought it would be in the tech.......funny how plp remember stuff from 2005 ....time flys!
Before you go the heat shrink path I would recommend you ahve a look at this post from the US. I did it, easy job and the results very good. http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=91894 Tony
To Hell with the 'new Zed', what about the 'Old Girl Friend'?:zlove::zlove: Welcome back Blade old man.:zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove:
Thanks Chili :zlove: Although I must have landed in an alternate universe, I don't remember you being so nice to me ever Chili but you know I always loved you :zlove: And hehe Im not back with a new Z, however my nephew has a TT zed now and he is lurking around here in this forum somewhere, I figured this application will work for quite a few cars, also it could help the members here.. I did get in touch with Z-ster, and he has all the old photos, he told me when he (moves I think) can, he will make another write up for the tech section, and also update with longevity, since it was nearly 2 years ago.
I was gonna set fire to you Simon, but I see someone has beaten me to it!(sometime, when you least expect it......).:bash::zlove::zlove:
I Wouldnt mention Leds I was always a tool and a wanker, but im not a complete idiot Naa they have their applications and can look pretty cool, I wouldnt mind led's for tail lights.
