hey lads how r u all

i noticed somthing interesting this morning while driving to work....i turned on the heater at setting 35deg, normally between 27 to 35 depending on coldness

anyway i could hear it working and blow out heat from the vents as normal, but as soon as i put it on 40deg their was no more heat, i could still hear it working, but nothing was coming out of the vents

...put it back to 35deg, which is just the nest deg down, and it started to blow again as normal

any ideas as to why it would stop blowing heat as soon as i put it on 40deg, cos i have no idea...electrical maybe

How long did you leave at 40 degrees for ?

Mine only kicks in once it reaches optimum temperature, so I guess not to blow cold air out, that's what I thought anyways.

as soon as i click it over to 40, it stops

ie: i had it on 35, turned it on, it reached optimum temp and started blowing heat, left it like that for a while, then decided to go to 40, as soon as i clicked "up" it stoped blowing!!

so do i havta wait till it reaches optimum temp for the 40deg selection as well...not sure if thats how it works though

    That is how mine works

It eventually kicks in when I do set it to 40, give it a shot :)
