Customized Zed Spotted [PICS]

I hope the owner doesn't mind, but I thought I'd share it...It's got a customized exterior and a matching interior.

reminds me of transformers....and the symbol on the bonnet just backs up my theory even more..... sorry...but that side shot with the silver on the skirts looks good...suits the yellow too

 

i like it, specially the chrome trimmings and the silver paint on the sideskirts, i don't like all the cutouts in the front bumper or the bonnet scoop thing, and what are those lines around the edge of the holes in the bumpers?

 

was lookin at it side on and thought.. mmmm nice

then the pics of the front came up and i thought i was gonna chuck

 

Looks like Freddy Kruger had a crack at it. Too much too overdone IMO nice colour though

 

looks as though he's gone crazy with one of those little stencil knives

 

the guy seems to know how to alter the kit but i think he didnt know where to stop...but yer i reakon it would look good witout half of it...

I don't like everything thats been done to the car either, but I probably would not use the semi-anonymity of this forum to pour pure crap on some-one's pride and joy either - now if I actually met a person I might say to them that they are just a try-hard wantabe BSD poster poser but then I haven't met lots of people who post on this forum, so until I met a person who in person strikes me as actually being like that like that, I'll probably keep my opinion of them, their own car and their various personal failings to myself

In the first photo, thought there was damage to the front bar from the little you can see, but the silver on the sideskirt goes nicely with the targa trim chrome where he's removed the black rubber that peels and the windows pillars he's silvered up. But then the front shot comes up and it ruins it. I never liked the fake "bonnet scoops" and that one looks even worse because of the stencil type job done on it.

 

Is that shag-pile carpet on the doors?

NO its not, its just the reflection of the fence in the background...I have actually met the owner of this car! Everyone has the right to their own opinion but doesnt mean you need to say them and bitch about someone else's car! ie some ppl LOVE stock 300zx's others loath it and only see it as a place to start modding...

Anyway, I see this car a few times a week, very nice, well looked after. Not to my taste but the owner loves it, and at the end of the day a well looked after zed is always a good thing!
