Thanks to the enormous generosity (financially and in kind) shown by members of this forum, and by other Z32 and car enthusiasts from many different locations(some as far away as England and USA), I wish to make it known that this appeal has succeeded in helping AndyMac back into a Z32 300ZX TT 2+2 Manual. This was what I envisioned when I sought your support, and it has come to fruition(although in a somewhat different way than I had initially hoped). We have raised just just over $4000 so far, with possibilities of a few more dollars dribbling in from some other donors, and to this end, the Appeal is still running for the time being. We had some interesting offers to consider, and after careful thought we have accepted an extremely generous offer from MrZee(Michael offered us one of his collection of Z32's for a bargain basement price, well below what he could have obtained elsewhere), and we were able to see Andy back behind the wheel of a 300ZX. MrZee effectively matched your donations with his discounted price, dollar for dollar, and Andy has been able to provide the balance. Michael, you are one of a kind, I truly love you man!:zlove::zlove::zlove: Thanks to everyone who helped in so many ways to make this come about. I will never forget this as long as I live, and I'm equally sure that Andy is just as stunned as I am. Sadly, we may never meet many of you people, but be assured that we hold each and everyone of you in the highest regard. YOU'RE ALL BLOODY WONDERFUL!:zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove: P.S. Pics will follow as soon as we can get Andy to stop driving around...and around....and around.....
great news. its great when everyone gets in and helps out someone who has suffered (who also gives great tech advice) now someone put a hole in his fuel tank so we can see these pics
That's great! Check out the reader's ride section of Autosalon this month (due out today).. there's something for you guys there
Good to hear Lloyd. By the way, you too deserve some praise for your efforts organising this. No doubt you have lost sleep over this and its good to see yours and our efforts come to something good. Well done. Now when's the V12 going in?

Haha Great to see that all the hard work in fundraising paid off The best bit is that CHILI now holds me in high regards - should I've just paid you out in the first place? LOL Kidding of course Congrats Andy :zlove: :zlove: :zlove: And MrZee - OUTSTANDING
Wonderful news Lloyd, your vision for Andy has come to fruition, a big HIP HIP HOORAH!!:zlove: To Michael and his more than generous offer, kudos to you champion, your a great human being. To the rest of us that made a donation, large and small, around the world, a huge pat on the back. Once again Lloyd, you have brought this forum together, in a way that will move us forward for the betterment of all. Thank you.:zlove:
The Chili Zee award to humanity I just want to say to two of the nicest blokes I've ever had the pleaseure to meet. THANKYOU (where is the hug emoticon?) Chili and Mr Zee never cease to amaze me how bloody good they are. Selfless, interesting, funny and in the case of Mr Zee an IRON BAR wrapped in cotton wool methinks. I have benefitted from their help before and I wonder how many other Zedders have too? Heaps I suspect. Next Zed fest I propose a Chili Zee award for selfless kindness to the world of Zeds and Zedders. Hip Hip Hooray for you two. Cheers Geoffo
Look forward to seeing it at Warwick Andy. So can all of us who donated sign a panel or interior part somewhere
man thats bloody awesome... congrats andy. and MrZee... nice name but aside from that, your a top bloke that completely awesome a great deed for sure.
cool, is there an online version of that mag? hope there's mention of the Supra guys too.. especially being rivals in a way, not quite Ford v Holden but still.. I was quite surprised by it.
Woooweee!! Therre are some top people out there! Super happy to see Andy back in a Zed! I can't wait for updates on it NOW - and - AFTER! :zlove: I take my hat off to Chilli, MrZee and all other contributors. Cheers, Ben.
That is excellent news I am proud to be associated with such a wonderful group of people. And equally glad to have been involved. See you at Warwick
Concur with Greg I believe your new Zed & I are already acquainted ... Michael's Zeds sure get around :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
GO, the 300ZX Forum! Hi Chilli, This is fantastic news mate! I have never seen such comradre and friendship in a group ever. I am so pleased and proud to be a member of this on-line forum. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine that through the generosity of the members would one individual who suffered receive such a great gift of his Zed back (well sort of, just in another form). Andy, I'm sure you will never forget this experience and treasure it for a long time. LOUD APPLAUSE HERE.:zlove: ... Probably my only dissapointment will be that I may never meet some of the wonderful people here in person, only through this medium on the net. Congrats to all - a nice moment in Zed history. Cheers, Kaz.
The generosity hasn't ended yet, latest offer comes from JP at UAS(Mods, this is not an infomercial), who has just offered to do a FREE Diagnostic Checkover & Dyno run on Andy's new ride as his contribution to the Appeal. THANKS JOHN, MUCH APPRECIATED.:zlove::zlove::zlove:
