mmm im not sure when it comes on but i think someone mention they got almost 100kms extra as soon the light came on to full empty stop... my tank has 560kms on it so far from that day and im gonna go fill her up tonight...ill see how much i get in there....
In my car when I fill up to the top, the gauge goes to about 2-3 millimetres under F. The low fuel light comes on about 2-3 mm under the bottom empty line, and I run out about 5mm under the empty line. I guess there are 2 things you can do: always make sure you have fuel, or go for a long drive with fuel in a jerry can in the boot and take note of when it goes dry.
GOR Pics website [/QUOTE] absolut crazy pic , i'm going to use that as my background on the pc.lol great stuff.
Yeah I know its not good for the car. The Z is the first car I've managed to run out of fuel on. Partly because it was running rich when I got it. Ran out after doing only 428 K's!! and I was on the Ring road heading east, just passed the Pascoe Vale exit, and it's like another 10K's or something ridiculous to Hume HWY exit.
ok, my turn for some photos. This time the majority of the photos werent taken by me, but my passenger Think she did quite well
hehe cheers guys.. i saw the red zed's up in front of us and im like "james james get the camera! you have to get that".. so i lined up the car in position and we got it if anyone wants a full size version of any of those pics let me know and i'll upload it somewhere feel free to use any of them for whatever you want enjoy!
They're some nice shots there Andrew. Like the one of my rear coming into the hairpin. Candidate for new sig I think.
i need a full size plzzzz if you want you can pm me the pic with the rego no. that would be good cheers
no probs.. do u want any particular aspect ratio ? (widescreen/normal?) pm me your email address i will send it over.. will be a few MB
Try this one Tim Dunno if it's better or not, I think I'm just really bored, haven't touched photoshop for the longest time, and I'm like a addict getting another taste. File size is a bit bigger, due to higher quality setting, feel free to recompress it if u want... You can see the compression artifacts on the hairpin sign.

I agree Col you are spot on . The GOR was full of bends and twists before you came to Anglesea, it was narrower and twisted back and forth past the scout camp down to a narrow bridge thru Anglesea. but all this was changed in the Sixtys when they tried to make the road more friendly for the ' TOURISTS " Also the road from melbourne to geelong was a single lane Bring back the old road for real thrills
That doesn't look good Mikey... Smoke looks to be thicker on the RHS, do you have a cross-over pipe? Can you smell oil in the smoke...
I would Not be talking to lould about cruising at 140 ks back to Geelong. I live in the area and have traveled most roads thru the Otways including Turtons Track ( Dirt track for approx 20 ks ) in tha Zed That road you were on is very popular with the POLICE and they haunt the area waiting for people to do these kind of speeds. I posted an incident a few months ago of a ZED caught on the same road at 175 ks then crashed as the policed gave chase. Remember it was a GOR cruise
