As of this afternoon ownership of my Z has passed on to a great new enthusiast in Brisbane. I hope you'll see him here as a member soon. I was reluctant to sell her but quite honestly I don't think I could afford to maintain her in the style to which she has become acustomed now that I'm about to become a pensioner An official ol'Z fart!!! Karen and I will be moving to Western Victoria out near the Grampian Mountains at the end of March and so perhaps I should change my forum nickname to 'Mexicandu'. It has been a pleasure to have met so many fine people through this forum over the last 3 years and thank you all for your friendship and help. I will still call in to the forum from time to time to catch up with old friends and may even join in a cruise when we're settled in Victoria - as long as you don't mind an MX5 coming along for the ride Just wait for me on the fast bits okay All the best guys and girls Cliff
sorry to hear about the zed, havent personally spoken to you but it is always sad to hear someone sells their zed good luck with the move to melbourne too!
Geez Cliffy, you've got it all wrong..... As you get older you are supposed to buy another zed NOT sell the one you've got I hope the move south works out for you and Karen and your retirement is enjoyable (I don't know how without a zed ) You can always drive the Mx5 to the next zedfest, I'm sure the Mexicans will give you a healthy headstart Keep in contact 'cause we can't afford to keep losing "old farts" from the forum, there aren't that many of you left
Farewell Candu! Cliff, it has been an absolute pleasure knowing you and I hope that we see plenty more of you in the future. It's a sad day to hear that you have sold up and moved forth.... You were always there to lend a hand or suggest resolutions to mechanical problems... You will be missed.... But hope to see you again soon. Fate
An unfortunate sale, but someone is picking up a beautiful car. Pls drop in and see us on Sunday if you have time (fund raiser). Should be a good turnout.
Happy retirement Cliff (and Karen) It is a shame to see you move on, you always had a great knowledge and a sharp wit. I still think we have enough of we more mature enthusiasts to form an Old Farts Chapter, and honorary members are welcome. All the best
All the best cliff. Your input to the forum is one of the reasons why this place is so awesome. Good luck with the relocation, and you had better stay in contact!
Oh bugger! We'll miss you Cliff! You've been a great Zed owner & Forum supporter over the years! Thanks for the countless hours of work you've contributed. You are always welcome in the maZda... cya on Springbrook CruiZe or meet at Eagle Thai on March 4th?
Sad, Sad day indeed . Will miss you heaps buddy, not because of the Zed sale but the move south of the border. I reckon you may even get another Zed, just something about these cars All the best mate Karl
damn mate, here i was planning to PM you to find out if you ever got your idle issues sorted as i'm now also having issues. once you're down here in vic, be sure to still come along on the vic events. good luck with the relocation.
Hi Cliff, we'll welcome you here in Vic ... don't think we've had a cruise in the Grampians direction yet. I like the "mexicandu" - but it could turn into Mexican-doo w which could then turn into Victorian shit!!! be prepared! According to the posties, I am also now an old fart officially. We're taking over! Just because I had a significant birthday recently people have seen fit to send me seniors crap!!!!! Bloody databases! Cheers, Mikey.
You can't do that Who said you candu that, you didn't get our permission. not enough of us old farts on here anyway. Be sorry to see you go Cliffy, make sure you keep in touch eh.
time to resurrect the "candu don't go" program, folks .. .. CLIFF DON'T GO .. we will miss you both, heaps .. mentioned to annette only last night that i had had not seen you post for a while and was wondering how the move was going ... have been holding some red silicone hose for you ... lol...!!! enjoy the great wimmera and western districts, mate .. and hamilton is a good spot ... best wishes to you both ...:zlove: :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
Pssst Hey Cliff. You've got it all wrong. Everyone that is a Queenslander knows that when Mexicans retire they move to the best State (Qld). What are you doing? You've got it all wrong. Queenslanders DON'T move to Mexico to retire. That's just unheard off. On another note.... All the best in your retirement and move. You'll be back
Bugger, Cliff !!! So, does this mean you're not going to Phillip Island at Easter? Seriously, you'll be much missed by many, not least of all, me. Please keep in touch and drop in from time to time. Cheers, Peter
You really know how to ruin someone's day, don't you? Lynn and I are devestated by this bombshell(we have many fond memories of the Goulburn Weekend, and your much enjoyed company). Please don't severe your contact with the forum, and the many friends you have made here. Good luck with your future plans, and hopefully we will meet again(even if we have to go to Mexico).:zlove::zlove:
