That was about 9 seconds to get to 100ks. Looks like he has a few mods though.

Whats the technique to keep the revs to high between gear changes? He only let it drop down to 5k between shifts.

Check out his other video. He does a big cruise and when he turns around he makes the comment

"F##k, it's hard keeping your shit steady going that fast"

    How fast

If he was shitting himself at that speed lets hope he don't get it delimited.

These cars are capable of 290 kmh as standard.

Not sure about the NA though.

Guy must have been a half wit to be scared at that speed unless he was holding the camera.

260 I believe for a unrestricted NA, I haven't found anywhere safe/legal enough to try yet.

would be at redline doing that speed... 240 was 6000andsomething RPM.

TTs have a higher top speed due to dif ratio.

    Your point being :p

Redlines are only reccomendations anyway, just like speedlimits and those little warning labels on laser pointers saying don't point in people eyes :D

On the top speed note though, a auto TT with enough power at redline will be able to hit 302 km/hr

    haha good on ya :p

my car saw many a redline (maybe why it doesnt run anymore??)

but one thing i probably wouldnt want to do is hold it at that high a speed at redline... just asking for something to break...

fark 300ks i wonder what thats like... 220 in the na was pretty much the same as 100ks... silky smooth and oddly quiet (obviously didnt have the t-tops out haha!

Wierd - Sounds like it's been tricked up, but it's slow to 100 IMHO.

NA's can do around 7.5sec - Mine can and it's stock.

He's only dropping to 5000 rpm as he's redlining each gear.

Funny thing is, he's a bit faster to 100 in the other video, after turning a corner! Mind you - shoot the photograhper!

Franz has an officially speed record of just under 300km'h and an unofficial record of just over 300km/h......I just can't remember the exact figures. If he's reading, can you comment any further franzy pants?

    265km/h in my n/a

More rpm to play with too - the trick is clutch kicking to get it further up in that power band for the low hp'd n/a's.

The auto TT tops out at 225 but gets their HEAPS quicker - have to upgrade to a 6 speed manual i reckon!

272 km/hr in my TT and yes it was done legally!

The scary thing is, there was a 260Z 2+2 with a 350 Chev in it and it was still pulling away LOL:eek:. Franz I think posted 275 ish!
