Hi guys, was wondering if all the light work on the front bumper, currently my 2 inner ones turn on when i turn headlights on and have indicators in them. When i press the fog light button no lights turn on. The outer ones are currently there for decoration and do not turn on at all. It is an aus spec
The aus-specs don't have front fog lights, rather they have the rear fog light on one side of the rear number plate (the other side is a reflector).
So the 2 inner lights are the lights that turn on when the headlights are on and are also indicators? The side ones are definitely blanks?
Yeah inner pair are Parker lights & indicators, outer ones are dummy indicators (these are the indicators on Jap models but weren't suitable to pass ADR's). Other members have fitted fog lights but you'll need an auto electrician to wire them up to the switch.
My car is JDM, so I wired it back to "stock" You can see the blinkers fine. Unlike some modern cars that have the blinker inset between the headlights. That are Hard To See: as you don't know that they are turning till they're directly pointing at you. Some don't even have the guard or mirror blinkers to help let you know. --- The "dummy" lights can have globes fitted. The twist lock portion is there. Just the light fitting blanks need to be cut out.
