Swapping parts from a 2+2 to a 2+0 questions

hi I have brought a 2+0 rolling shell this one is ok verry clean shell as in no dents no cut and shut has been rubbed back for respray I’m painting the engine bay back to original collor as the guy striped it out and painted it black the car is silver ok my question is it’s missing exhaust and tail shaft which I no is different is the fuel tank the same ? And fuel pump and will everything under the bonnet of a 2+2 fit into a 2+0 thank u

 

Fuel tank will not fit. Evething under the bonnet will fit

Fuel pump may be the same, but the baulk head is different.

Dose any one know how much a complete file tank out of a 2+0 is and a tail shaft thank u

 

Essentially everything from & including the front seats forward is the same between the 2.0 & 2+2, even under the car.
If you need a tail shaft, get a new one piece unit from the US, Z1 or Coz.
Depending on what has been removed from your shell, you may require support brackets, hoses etc for the fuel tank.
Therefore you would be better off buying a complete fuel tank assembly out of a wreck.

 

Ok thank u I’ll have to check out exactly wot I need at this point it’s only exhorts tail shaft and fuel tank I need the rest is on my other car

 

Dose the collor on the brakes mean anything like on a hsv there is gray for standard red and yellow are the upgrades on a hsv on my 2+2 I have gray ones on my 2+0 they are red or are they the same ?

 

Someone has painted the calipers red.
