can some one confirm if the Z350 front Calipers are the same as the R34 GTR BNR34 Brembo Front Brake Calipers.
And if so are they a direct bolt on for the 300zx.
I currently have the 350z rotors fitted with the dogbone adapters, so was looking at going the next step. Thanks

Unfortunately not, the brake rotor offset is slightly different from what i recall.

And both use an m14 mounting bolt so the Z's knuckle needs to be drilled out to fit them. R33 is the easiest brembo option.

Just means you need to run a 350 rotor with a 350 caliper or a gtr rotor with a gtr caliper.

I no the rotors are different but calipers

I remember reading once that yes the rotors have a different offset but that the Calipers them self where the same just wondering if that was correct.

If the rotors have a different offset then the calipers must have a different offset, too.

unless the relative mounting points (face) is moved.

Yes I agree, but if the R34 Rotors and Calipers fit on to the 300 zed as a combo set then the relative mounting points on the vehicles must be the same.
Also rings true for the 350z combo fitting onto the 300zed. Best I find myself some 350zed Front calipers to match the rotors I already have.

Yes I agree, my post was in relation to Rob's post.

My point was only that, if 2 cars have the same caliper, but different rotor offset, then the mounting face must be in a different spot :)

The 350Z calipers will fit perfectly with 350Z rotors, just need to drill out the hubs as mentioned above. Very similar if not identical to the GTR Brembo's often used on 300ZX, just painted gold and with a 4.5mm difference in the mounting offset, hence why they'll only work with 350Z rotors.
