Gearboxes are the same* so you're sweet.

*save for a couple of ribs in bellhousing and the machining height of the starter mount.

if you are going to put the r230 rear end back in then the tailshaft will fit. The only different one is the N/A auto tailshaft, has a smaller yoke.

Ok guys, hoping to have the R230 in by the weekend. Leader gears will have to wait, id rather spend the money on a nitrous kit.

Pulled the silver wreck apart but still havent done the rear subframe. Has all brand new bushes up front so that will all slot nicely into my zed along with the bilstein shocks. Pulled the forged motor out so will assess the damage soon.

No pics yet as i haven't had time to pull anything apart. Just bought a Non Vspec R32 GTR diff from tassie so that should be here in the next two weeks or so, been a nightmare to source.

Once it arrives i will put the big brakes into the zed along with the diff and TT half shafts, after that i'll have another crack at the drags.. After that i'll get a nitrous kit sorted for it and go for gold.

Also still need to pick up my Walbro 485 Fuel Pump from Rob, it should be able to handle a higher nitrous shot than i'm planning to use :)

Didnt get them made yet, i was going to just take those drawings you sent me to a shop to have them done.

Hopefully I'll get some motivation to work on the zed during the weekend and get it up and going.... maybe get the nitrous kit on too.

No progress yet, got put back onto night shift and have zero time to work on the zed. Am looking to go the breather mod route and try to get the absolute best i can out of the setup with a 100 shot on top.

Are you running front or side mount intercoolers at the moment? If you've got front mount going with more direct custom piping like black beast did will probably help flow a fair bit.

I have a front mount with 2.5" in/out. Currently it does its job very well, after a hard rap its still cold to the touch along with the cold side piping.... not sure how well itll cope with the next setup though?

Breather mods should reduce temperatures anyway since the turbo isn't working as hard and front is probably better for drags as you can get air through it in the pits without having to install more fans.

If you end up going to buy piping maybe get a quote on a system that goes straight past the rad rather than zig-zagging around under the headlights. Will probably save on couplers so might work out to be a decent price. Might not be able to actually reduce the number of bends with modifying the tanks though.

Love to know how much pressure drop would occur on the standard z32 FMIC set up, I bet it's spastic
