Can anyone please confirm the best way to get to this item is by taking off Drivers wheel and removing the plastic covers at the from of the bay?

Isn't the reservoir in the back left hand side of the boot?

The two seaters have the reservoir in the back the four seaters have it in the front.

What are you planning to replace it with?
I'd love to eliminate mine as well so that my SMIC has better airflow but don't know how to go about doing it and still have windscreen washer functionality.

Has anyone come up with an alternative windscreen washer reservoir solution for the 2+2?
Perhaps something similar to mungyz's coolant reservoir?

Depends how handy you are... it would be a massive **** around, but if you really wanted you could put it where ever you wanted. Simple matter of modifying the reservoir to fit, relocating the wiring and re-plumbing the lines. Could be fit inside the sides of the boot of a 2+2 same as a 2+0 if you really wanted.

Wait, that's actually not that simple for most people haha

I was planning on replacing the oem one with something much smaller. 4"x5"x5.5"

I would mount it in the oem location and attach the original oem filler neck to it.
