Time to replace my old worn rear shocks, not interested in adjustable just want an oem replacement, anyone know much about these shocks from sachs?

    http://streetautoparts.com.au/index...excl-adj-susp-07-89-10-96-310890-310-890.html

Also majority of shocks I find for the zed say they are for the turbo model, I have A aus spec 94' 2+2 NA , will these be suitable? Alternatives? Also would these work with the oem boots/bump stops? Cheers

Any shocks you find to suit z32 will be fine. The only difference is that in the us market turbos had dampening adjustable shocks from factory.

Yes they do. I just replaced all 4 shocks on my 2+0 TT with excel g's and reused the old bump stops and top hats

Ive been using KYB GR-2 shocks in my zed for over 4 years & i would highly recommend them especially when upgrading from stock shocks & not wanting to get coilovers or adjustable shocks

Bang for your buck the gr-2's are pretty reliable. Bursons were a good place to purchase from for price comparisons also.

I got quoted $780 for the full set. But managed to screw them down to $580. I have seen them cheaper online.

online there is alot of kyb ecel-G (black) shocks, apparently they are now being made in the US (black) where as the gr2 (silver) were made in japan and were of A better build quality, anyone know anything about that?

I have read somewhere some talk of slightly different dampening secs between the two models. Care factor?
Just painted different colour and named different for different markets IMHO.

    yer zactly M8.
Honestly, if you are staying with stock or near to stock springs, the KYB's will serve you extremely well with a firm, but compliant ride that wont loosen your fillings going over matchsticks!!!
Im running lower and harder Tien springs than stock and Im trying extremely hard to fault the GR-2 shocks I have all round. Excellent value for money!!!

Yeah, I'll have to write up a review of the excel g's when I get them in.
