Front bar, reo & nose panel will be removed but is the arm on either of these cranes too short? they a have a working range of between 960-1240 mm. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1ton-Fol...=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cbcdc534e http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/hunt...ully-folding-type-for-easy-storage/1025275469 Thanks guys!
For the extra $35 this would be a better buy http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2ton-Fol...d=100005&prg=1088&rk=3&rkt=4&sd=260866593614&
These are a good deal, i bought one myself and fitted a engine to the stand no worries.... (I have not removed an engine with the hoist yet, but they are well structured) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SHOP-Cra...=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec841fac1
for a home garage you're better off with a separate stand imo. That's going to take up a lot of space and be a massive pita to move around once you put an engine on it
