Front Strut brace doesn't fit Series 1 NOturbo engine

Yes it would suit someone who is running hose rather than the stock plumbing (Anti had a good suggestion) because I can see there is rubber hose then hard pipe then rubber hose again. I would rather get a different brace

Someone suggested bending it? If it is easily bent then it isn't much of a brace

The good point is this one clears the motor (if the hard plumbing is deleted by extending the two short hoses with one long hose) it also appears to fit under the bonnet. I had it bolted down on the driver's side and supported above the motor at the correct height and the bonnet closed OK.

Someone else might want to try it out. I'll put it in the boot.

 

I forgot who I bought it from but yes it was Michael and l only bought it because I was buying something else and it was cheap.
